Coach, Consultant & Cultural Sector Leader.

About Me

For over twenty years I've worked with some of the UK's most exciting arts and cultural organisations - including Discover Children's Story Centre, Art Fund, Unicorn Theatre, Chickenshed Theatre, National Theatre, Warwick Arts Centre and the Belgrade Theatre.

I’ve held roles including CEO, Executive Director, and Director of Marketing, navigating the joys and complexities of leading mission-driven organisations through growth, challenge, and change. I've also served as a trustee, deepening my understanding of governance and strategic leadership.

I am now a freelance coach and consultant. I undertake 1-2-1 coaching, strategic project work, faciliation and training, and interim CEO and senior leader roles to support organisations during periods of transition. I also regularly lecture at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts on audience development, leadership and management.

Why Coaching Is Central To My Approach

I first experienced coaching while on a Clore leadership course and later as a new leader. Through these experiences I developed a strong interest in a coaching-led approach to leadership as a way to further develop my ability to empower and support those around me. My journey into coaching has been transformational to how I show up as a leader, facilitator, consultant, trainer, colleague and friend.

I believe that leaders and managers at every level can profoundly benefit from coaching. By offering clients a safe, trusted space for self-exploration into the challenges and issues that hold them back, they can deepen their self-awareness, further their ability to understand and manage their emotions, and uncover their authentic voice and leadership style. When we lead from a place of clarity and integrity, we become braver, more compassionate, and more effective leaders - and this has a positive ripple effect on our teams and organisations.

As a coach, I'm accredited with a Postgraduate Certificate in coaching from the globally recognised Henley Business School and am a member of the Association for Coaching. I invest in ongoing CPD and reading of academic journals and books to continually deepen my practice. Coaching isn't just what I do - it's how I operate, bringing curiosity, creativity, and strategic focus to all my work.

What Drives Me

I'm committed to the cultural and social impact sectors - transformational organisations doing vital work, often with limited resources and immense pressure. My focus is helping leaders and teams not only survive, but thrive, staying true to their values whilst developing the confidence, clarity and influence to make lasting change.
